Bottoms Up!

My lovely cousin, Carolyn, gave me a book called "Bottoms Up, A cheeky look at life." It's full of great little quotes about the funny side of life. From now on, I am going to try and post one every couple of days. I won't promise one each day, cause I know that will NEVER happen and anyone who reads my blog regularly will be on the floor laughing!!

So here's todays quote, one which hubby would say is perfect for me.

"Whoever said you can't buy happiness had never been shopping!"

Yep, it is so me........

Come back in a few days and check out the next quote. There won't be any over the weekend, as KT and I are going to Tassie. YAY!!!!!!

CYA. MWAH!

Little Posers

It doesn't take much to get the girls to pose for a photo. These were taken just near the light house at Norah Head, up the coast last school holidays. It was such a cloudy and windy day but the overcast conditions were great for some photo taking. Sometimes it is hard to get them to be serious about it. We had to redo a couple of photos cause they were laughing or the wind blew hair in their faces. But I was really happy with the shots we took that day. Actually, we got some great shots throughout the holiday. If you want to see more, click on the link for our photo album on the side.

The Naughty Word

The other day I was posting on the SCRAPAWHILE forum and I was "caught" using the naughty word. "What naughty word" you ask? HOUSEWORK! I was posting that if I wasn't on the forum then I would have to do my housework. Apparently, that word is banned, and rightly so. I HATE HOUSEWORK!!!! The girls gave me a talking to about using the "naughty word, they even threatened to wash my mouth out with soap!

Today, Kathryn posted the following, (which she received in an email) in regard to housework and I thought I would share it. I laughed when I read it and thought I might just see if it works. Do you think Allan will go for it????

HOW TO CLEAN THE HOUSE.
1. Open a new file in your PC.
2. Name it "Housework."
3. Send it to the RECYCLE BIN.
4. Empty the RECYCLE BIN
5. Your PC will ask you, "Are you sure you want to delete Housework permanently?"
6. Calmly answer, "Yes," and press mouse button firmly......
7. Feel better?Works for me!

Thanks Kathryn, it made me feel better just laughing about it!
